Email Collection

1. List all email handles, passwords, and Custodian names affiliated with each account to be collected.

Please confirm whether we are authorized to reach out to each Custodian directly for coordination purposes. If not, please include contact information of coordinator for each/all collections requested.

2. Location of Emails? (I.e. Active accounts or archived/backed up to a server?)

3. Type of account(s)? (I.e. Gmail, Outlook, etc.)

4. Date range to apply at time of collection?

5. Search terms to apply post - collection to filter/cull down data?

Phone Collection

1. List all Custodian names affiliated with each device to be collected and all respective phone type(s) - make & model.

2. Access information for each device (password/PIN).

3. What information needs to be extracted from the device collection? Including, but not limited to, text messages, other short message apps (WhatsApp, Instagram Direct Messenger, Facebook Messenger), phone logs, voicemails, contact lists, etc. All identified collection sources would need respective passwords provided.

Note: You cannot do an email collection directly from a phone. Emails are not housed on mobile devices in the same manner as in the official account.

Personal Computer Collection

1. List all Custodian names affiliated with each device to be collected and all respective computer type(s) - make & model.

2. What information needs to be extracted from the device collection? Including, but not limited to, user generated content only, targeted folders, etc.

Server Collection
